Tiana St. Clair
Flying Squirrels Instructor
With a deep passion for the outdoors, I find endless inspiration in the simple act of being in nature. Time outside offers space to slow down, breathe deeply, and connect more fully—with ourselves, with others, and with the living world around us. I believe these moments are essential for fostering resilience, curiosity, and a sense of belonging.
My approach to teaching is rooted in the idea that learning about nature should be both engaging and empowering. Whether through hands-on skills, immersive experiences, or the freedom of unstructured play, I see each activity as an opportunity to deepen our relationship with the land. As a Down to Earth instructor, my goal is to help bridge that connection by creating an environment where students feel safe to explore, encouraged to take on challenges, and excited to discover the wonders of the natural world.
Every day outside is a chance to plant seeds—of knowledge, confidence, and connection—that can last a lifetime. I’m grateful to share those moments with the students and families who join us on this journey.
