Dakota Bauer

Red Foxes Instructor

Hey! I’m Dakota, a Down to Earth Nature School instructor and an avid outdoor enthusiast. With 8 years of experience in outdoor education, mainly as a ski instructor, I’m passionate about sharing my love for being outside with others. Since starting at DTE I’ve learned how to wood carve, a newfound hobby of mine, and one of my favorite places to carve is along Little Cottonwood Creek.

Another passion of mine is traveling. A goal of mine is to visit all 50 states and 7 continents. So far, I’ve been to 49 states and 5 continents. My priority when traveling is to hike up tall mountains, swim in cold water on sunny days, and eat as many different types of fruit that I can.
